This oversized book is created so readers can experience the process of taking note of mundane objects. It is ironic because this book takes up an unusual amount of space but the contents inside are mundane objects that often go unnoticed. This irony is furthered by the choice of “traditional” material and processes, such as cutting the papers to size by hand and carefully curated film photographs. The gatefolds expand outwards, forcing readers to further take note of its presence. The book brings out the beauty of ordinary environments of the objects, and the objects themselves. Mundane, yet irresistibly beautiful.
