Criss Cross Festival

Criss Cross Festival celebrates the intersection of traditional Vietnamese dance and contemporary dance with various forms of art, viewed through the lens of heritage and culture. The festival showcases a diverse range of dance performances, talk shows, workshops, and film screenings.The festival’s identity is crafted through a dynamic composition of typographic elements and symbolic visualizations, celebrating the essence of dance and the themes of ‘Roots’ and ‘Intersection.’ The custom typeface, combined with abstract geometric shapes representing the sounds and music of the performances, along with dancer illustrations capturing the essence of movements, creates a cohesive visual representation. Altogether, the visual identity responds to the intangible foundation on which dance takes root.
