This typographic poster series serves as a tribute to Zaha Hadid, the visionary Iraqi architect known as the "Queen of the Curve." Her ability to transform structures into sculptural, gravity-defying forms inspired me to explore how typography could similarly push the boundaries of movement and space, using distortive and dynamic techniques to mirror her balance between structure and fluidity. Through extensive research into her architectural portfolio to understand her approach to form, movement, and spatial composition, this became the foundation for my exploration. Her philosophy of challenging convention influenced my approach to typography, by treating type as both form, texture, and image, resulting in a poster series that challenges typographic conventions in the process.
